Employers: get unlimited access to the talent you need, at a price you set
Individuals: generate an income, simply by referring the talent you know
Feefor is a Recruitment platform that enables companies to hire the people they need by sharing their vacancies with people who will know good candidates, and paying them a referral fee if they make a hire.
The employer sets the fee they are prepared to pay for a successful referral. It costs nothing if you don’t hire any referrals.
Employers should choose who to share their vacancies with carefully. Ideally these should be people you know and trust to recommend “good people”, but the platform can recommend referrers if you don’t know anyone appropriate.
Feefor will charge you the fee you set when the Candidate starts work. Feefor will pay the referrer who recommended the candidate once the employer has paid Feefor.
Feefor keeps a percentage of the Fee that the employer sets. The percentage that Feefor retains varies between 20% for early adopters and high volume users, and 40%, which is currently Feefor’s standard model.
Your referrers have the option to share the vacancy with potential candidates, or with additional referrers who may be able to recommend somebody. If they share it with additional referrers, they decide what portion of the fee they are willing to pay for successful recommendations.
The perfect referrer is someone you know, whose opinion you trust, and who is likely to know good people they can recommend – maybe someone who does a similar job. If you don’t know who to share it wth, the platform will recommend referrers for you, or we can share it for you through our Managed Services
The typical fee you might expect to pay a recruitment agency ranges from about 8.33% (one month’s salary) for high volume hiring, to about 33% (four months’ salary) for very senior hiring. We expect our customers to make significant savings from these levels of fee, but the fee you offer should be sufficient to incentivise your referrers to recommend the best people they know. As a general rule, the more senior the hire, the larger the fee you should offer.
Feefor is a Recruitment platform that enables referers to generate a passive income by recommending people they know for vacancies that have been shared with them. If you recommend someone for a vacancy and that person is hired, you’ll receive a fee.
The employer sets the fee they are prepared to pay for a successful referral, and pays Feefor that amount when the candidate starts work. Referers earn between 60-80% of that fee if the candidate they recommend is hired. The exact amount depends on the agreement between Feefor and the employer, but you will be notified of the amount you can earn when jobs are shared with you.
If you recommend someone who gets hired, Feefor will charge the employer when the candidate starts work, and you’ll be paid once the employer has paid Feefor. Some employers may have a “candidate guarantee” in their agreement with Feefor, which offers them a rebate if the candidate leaves within a certain period of time. In this instance, referrers get paid when the guarantee period has passed.
Once you’ve registered with Feefor, you can create a profile to give employers more information about yourself and the types of people you are able to recommend. This will help more employers find you, and increase the chances that jobs will be shared with you. As we grow, we will also develop a rating system which will tell employers how successful you have been in refering candidates. The higher your rating, the more likely it is that employers will share their vacancies with you, and the more money you could earn.
You have a couple of options; you could do nothing, but that means you wouldn’t earn any money, or you may have the option (if the employer has enabled it) to share the vacancy with people you know who could make recommendations for you. In this scenario, you decide how much of your potential fee you’d be willing to share for a successful recommendation. Those recommendations then come back to you, so you can decide whether they’re suitable for sharing with the employer.
The employer can limit the number of candidates that each referrer can send them, to ensure they don’t get flooded with applicants. It’s important to make sure that any candidates you send to the employer are a good fit for the role; this will help to ensure you get a good “star-rating”, which improves your chances of more employers sharing their jobs with you.
Feefor is changing the way companies recruit. We provide the platform which enables you to leverage your relationships by incentivizing those contacts to help you hire. You don’t need to know the candidates you want to hire; you just need to share your role with people who do. Set the Referral Fee you are prepared to pay for a hire, and have your contacts engage candidates for you.
If you want to use Feefor’s platform and sourcing network anonymously, no problem. Send us your role and we’ll share it for you.
You know your contacts; you trust them. Choose who to share your role with based on its requirements and location.
Think about the hires you need to make today – you almost certainly know people who could refer the candidates you need.
Use Feefor to give them the incentive they need to help you; it’ll be far cheaper than using a Recruitment Agency and you pay nothing until you make a hire.
Candidates are shared with you via the Feefor platform, and you engage with them directly. If you hire a candidate, you’re charged the fee you set, and we pay the referrer.

Feefor was founded by industry experts with over 50 years’ experience of Recruitment and HR Technology. We believe that all the mainstream Recruitment channels available to employers have their respective strengths, but each also has its own weaknesses, so we set out to build a platform which combines the benefits of each, but without any of the drawbacks.
Recruitment is, and always will be, dependent on relationships. Recruitment agencies continue to thrive because their recruiters spend time building relationships with candidates, giving them access to talent pools which employers simply don’t have time to develop in-house.
Employee Referral schemes have been successful for many employers because their existing employees also have relationships with many of the candidates they need to hire. And because the Referral Fee they pay to employees is far less than the Fee they would have had to pay to a Recruitment Agency, they save money too.
Advertising can be cost effective, but it only targets the small proportion of candidates who are actively looking for a role, and usually generates a volume of applicants that employers struggle to cope with.
Whilst Recruitment Agencies, Advertising and Employee Referral Schemes all play a part in Recruitment, Feefor combines the benefits of each to transform the way employers recruit.
